This is an application for the U18 NEXUS Umpire Application - July 12th, 13th, and 14th

USAFH will once again be hosting the NEXUS Championships in Virginia Beach at the Regional Training Center on July 6th - 16th.

The Nexus Championships will see the top female players competing in a premiere tournament, working with USA Field Hockey Coaching Staff and being assessed and selected for various Junior High Performance opportunities.

The nature and standing of the Nexus Championships dictates that our current top rated and performing umpires along with many of those who have displayed exciting talent and growth potential should and will be prioritized for appointment. Our intention is to expose umpires to the highest levels of play while providing umpire mentorship, educational and growth opportunities.

The NEXUS Championships are four individual events that run in succession. U14 is July 6-8, U16 is July 9-11, U18 is July 13-15 and Senior NEXUS is July 13-16. There is a separate registration for each age group. We encourage you to sign up for as many events as you are available. By completing this registration, your application will be considered for the event and notification will be sent regarding appointments in the near future.

Umpire Compensation is as follows:

• Cost of Travel - covered at $.50 per mile or full airfare, whichever is the best and most economical
• Do not book travel until notified of appointment
• Hotel Accommodation - double occupancy
• Meals - hotel breakfast, lunch provided and a stipend for dinner
• There is not a game fee paid for this event
