World Masters Hockey Indoor World Cup: Virginia Beach (USA) 15-20 February 2022

USA FIELD HOCKEY will have the option to submit the nomination details for a number of technical officials to represent USA in the World Masters Hockey Indoor World Cup 2022. Note that nominated technical staff will be required to meet the WMH Indoor Technical Staff Criteria.( See details below, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
THIS IS AN AVAILABILITY AND INTEREST REGISTRATION ONLY...SELECTIONS WILL BE MADE BASED CRITERIA BELOW.
They are looking for technical staff with experience in indoor events working with high level youth and adult hockey tournaments.
All selected World Masters Hockey Technical Staff must be a registered member and in good standing with USA Field Hockey.
ALL TECHNICLA STAFF have a responsibility to ensure that matches proceed safely and fairly within the spirit of the rules.
They should:

have very good knowledge of how to apply interpretations of FIH indoor rules;

have good experience of managing Masters Level hockey and able to understand the nuances of these fit, experienced and competitive players;

have a good understanding and respect the spirit of hockey played under the WMH banner;

have the skills to manage participants in each game appropriately;
-
be strong communicators and make consistent decisions in similar situations; apply rules and regulations equally to both teams for level of skill and fitness of
Masters players;
-
be supportive and encouraging to their umpiring colleagues, on and off the field.
The final decision on all Masters Indoor World Cup 2022 Technical Staff appointments is at the sole discretion of World Masters Hockey, which will take into consideration, but not limited to:

availability and experience of all persons applying;
-
number of confirmed team entries;
-
change in circumstances (e.g. health and safety, visa restrictions, etc.)
Additional useful information regarding the expected commitment:

Tech Staff will be expected to arrive prior to commencement of the first match - approximately 24 hours in advance;

Departure could be the evening or day after conclusion of matches. Please note: all tournaments will have an Opening and Closing Ceremony;

Officiating at the WMH Indoor WC tournament is totally self funded including accommodation, unless the host NA is in a position to provide support;

Further accommodation options will be sent by the host NOC, or technical staff can make their own arrangements once confirmed to participate.

Travel to/from the playing venue at Virginia Beach - technical staff need to be prepared to make their own arrangements, unless local transport is offered by the host NOC;
