Tournament Details


The 2023 National Indoor Tournament Qualifiers (NITQ), presented by YOLO Sportswear, features play for U-16 and U-19 Girls.

Registration Process

Registration is first-come, first-served. When registering a team, club administrators must rank their team according to skill level and years of experience. Registration costs are set at $650 per team, full payment is due at time of registration. 

*ALL TEAM REGISTRATIONS WITH UNPAID/PENDING STATUS WILL NOT HAVE THEIR SITE PLACEMENTS RESERVED FOR THEM, AND THESE SPOTS WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE FOR OTHER TEAMS LOOKING TO REGISTER*

*A CLUB IS ALLOWED 3 TEAMS MAXIMUM AT EACH QUALIFIER SITE*

Pricing Information:
Pricing for each team is $650 per team. All registrations include a $100.00 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. *Full payment is due at time of registration. Refunds will not be granted after the final final registration deadline of Friday, November 11.  All team registrations with Unpaid/Pending status will not have their site placements reserved for them and will remain available for other teams looking to register.

Roster Information:
Roster Deadline: On a rolling basis determined by the date of your qualifier weekend. A roster late fee will be enforced on the Friday before your qualifier. You will still be able to edit your rosters until the lockdown date. Roster lockdown date is Sunday, the week of your qualifier. When creating your rosters, U-16 athletes can participate in both a U-16 and U-19 qualifier on the same weekend. Any athlete with collegiate coaching or training will not be deemed eligible to compete. 

*All rosters will need to be completed electronically prior to Team Check-in on site.

Refund Information: USA Field Hockey requires a $100 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit to register each team. Refunds will not be granted after COB Friday, November 11, 2022.

NIQ Weather Cancelations / Delays - If 16 or more teams are able to attend and no other dates are available for rescheduling the NIQ the event will still occur. If less than 16 can attend the qualifier may be cancelled. If cancelled 50% of the teams registered at that site will be advanced to the NITs based of of previous year's NIQ qualifying percentage. Hosts will be responislble for communicating cancellations and delays and will be basing decisions off of local weather guidance. Delays will be communicated the night prior or by 6am the day of. 

COVID-19 Policy - Should USA Field Hockey cancel the event due to federal, state or local mandates related to COVID-19, all teams will be refunded the full tournament fee MINUS a $100 processing/administrative fee. Refunds will be processed 7-10 business days from the announcement of cancellation. If COVID-19 travel restrictions/mandates forbid a club’s movement out of state/country, refunds will be given on a case-by-case basis. Any withdraws or cancellations on the club’s behalf, even if due to COVID-19 concerns, will be subject to USA Field Hockey’s Refund Policy. If requested within open registration deadline, then a refund would be granted minus non-refundable deposit. If final payment deadline has past no refunds will be granted. All requests to cancel or withdraw must be made in writing to Kelly Angeletti, USA Field Hockey's Events and Club Services Sr. Coordinator, at kangeletti@usafieldhockey.com.
