REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER BASH AT THE BEACH: Virginia Beach Regional Training Center

USA Field Hockey is excited to announce the 8th annual Summer Bash at the Beach at the Virgina Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. sanctioned by Hometown Sports.

Spots are limited and registration is first-come, first-served. Registration opens on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. ET and closes on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET, or when the event reaches its registration capacity. If registration reaches capacity, a waitlist will be opened, and clubs should contact Dasha Gorokhova, USA Field Hockey's Events and Club Services Coordinator, at dgorokhova@usafieldhockey.com to reserve a spot. USA Field Hockey will first consider accepting clubs on the waitlist that do not yet have a team registered to increase club diversity at the event!

The Summer Bash at the Beach will feature U-10 Co-Ed, U-12 Co-Ed, U-14 Girls and U-14 Co-Ed divisions. All divisions will still be run in a 7v7 competitive pool format in which scores will be kept and pool champions will receive awards. Co-Ed teams will not be able to play more than three male players (goalkeepers excluded) at any given time during a game. 

Pools will be seeded by in accordance to our team rating system. All teams will submit team ratings based on an honest assessment of their team's skill and the average years of experience their team collectively has playing field hockey during registration so that the USA Field Hockey National Office can create pools based on like ratings for a fun, competitive, experience! A rerating period will be established at a later date so that clubs can adjust rating if necessary.

Payment & Refund Policy: Refunds for team registrations will not be granted after the registration close date of Sunday, April 30. Final payment for teams is due by Sunday, April 30, if a team is submitted as "Unpaid" through the due date their team spot will be subject to cancellation

Summer Bash at the Beach is not a stay to play event, but if you choose to stay at a partner hotel and inform them you are playing in the tournament, a discount will be applied.
