Hello! Please fill out this form (CLICK ON PARTICIPATION REGISTRATION) if you are an athlete or parent of an athlete that may be interested in registering for a Oklahoma, Vermont, Florida Nexus Site. By filling out this form, we are gauging participation numbers for to add Nexus site in these locations in 2024.
What is Nexus? Field hockey, like many team sports, is a game of connections, uniting skilled players and coaches to connect and collaborate to achieve a common goal. USA Field Hockey’s Nexus program, presented by Osaka Hockey, is designed to connect players to coaches - and players to players. Nexus is focused on providing a fun, challenging, competitive experience within the long-term athlete development process. Through both technical and tactical exercises, Nexus will help guide each player toward his/her own pathway of success. Vermont location proposal University of Vermont or similar Oklahoma location proposal Oklahoma City, Tulsa, or a combination Florida location proposal Miami Area Who? Athletes ages 11-18 Cost of programming: $595 for 3 weekends of Training and an updated USA Field Hockey membership is required. Financial aid is available and we encourage applications prior to registration opening HERE. Time approximately 3 hours per day / 18 hours total of training from March- May. Official Registration will start January 3rd for returning Nexus athletes and January 17th for new Nexus athletes. By filling out this interest form, you will be included on our email distribution list for Oklahoma, Vermont or Florida related Nexus updates! Mark your calendars! Nexus team is hosting a Webinar and Q&A for all interested in learning more about the programming on December 6th, 2024 at 8:00pm. This will be recorded and shared via email and on our website and by filling out this form, we will be sure to keep you in the loop on all information related to Nexus 2024.
