USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2024-25 U.S. Junior USMNT Camp And Talent Identification to be held at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. from July 23-26, 2024. Thie Talent ID will be held in conjunction with at US JMNT training camp.

The primary goal of the Talent ID and Training Camp is to discover athletes who, at an early age, show promise for future success at the top-tier of the sport. The Talent ID Camp is the first step for any young male field hockey player (age 12-20) hoping to enter the U.S. Men’s National Team Olympic Development Pathway and reach the highest levels of competition.

The Junior USMNT Talent ID and Training Camp is instructional with a focus on providing insight into what is required of elite athletes and the tools to achieve success at the international level. The camp also assists in selecting athletes for the U.S. U-18 and U-21 Men’s National Teams. The schedule consists of training/evaluation sessions over the course of three days. Highlights include instruction from some of Team USA’s finest coaches including Pat Harris, Jun Kentwell and Pat Cota.

The cost of the camp is $625.00 and includes the trainings, meals and lodging. Check-in will take place on Tuesday, July 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PT, with check-out on Friday, July 26 at 12:00 p.m. PT.

Registration will be capped at 80 individuals and closes on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 11:59 p.m ET.
