USA Field Hockey is offering an online Starter and Level 1 Indoor Umpire Clinic that will take place on December 3 and 5, 2024. After hosting a number of extremely well-attended and successful online clinics for the outdoor game, USA Field Hockey’s Director of Umpiring Sean Rapaport will lead the introduction of an online opportunity for umpires, athletes, coaches and supporters to learn the key aspects of umpiring indoor hockey. He will share some of the key building blocks, tools and ideas that one should possess when developing into a good, consistent indoor umpire. Many of the concepts shared will be beneficial to not only indoor umpires but also coaches, athletes and supporters looking to understand and enjoy the game even more. The two sessions of the Starter and Level 1 Indoor Umpire Clinic will take place on the evenings of Tuesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 5, starting at 7:30 p.m. ET and not lasting more than 2 hours. All sessions will be presented online and the link will be shared with registered participants after registration closes. The cost of the Starter and Level 1 Indoor Umpire Clinic is $25 for USA Field Hockey Members and $50 for non-USA Field Hockey Members. Registration is now open and will close on Monday, December 2 at 11:59 p.m. ET. |
