Hello! Please fill out this form (CLICK ON PARTICIPATION REGISTRATION) if you are an athlete or parent of an athlete that may be interested in registering for a Nexus site in Pittsburgh, PA or Maine. By filling out this form, we are gauging participation numbers for to a Nexus site in this locations in 2025. What is Nexus? Field hockey, like many team sports, is a game of connections, uniting skilled players and coaches to connect and collaborate to achieve a common goal. USA Field Hockey’s Nexus program, presented by Osaka Hockey, is designed to connect players to coaches - and players to players. Nexus is focused on providing a fun, challenging, competitive experience within the long-term athlete development process. Through both technical and tactical exercises, Nexus will help guide each player toward his/her own pathway of success. PIttsburgh location proposal PA: Washington and Jefferson College / ME: Bates / Bowdoin or similar Who? Athletes ages 11-18 Cost of programming: $595 for 3 weekends of Training and an updated USA Field Hockey membership is required. Financial aid is available and we encourage applications prior to registration opening HERE. Time approximately 3 hours per day (Weekends only) / 18 hours total of training from March- May. Official Registration will start Mid January for returning Nexus athletes and for new Nexus athletes. Nexus team is hosting a Webinar and Q&A for all interested in learning more about the programming on December 10th, 2024 at 8:00pm.
