USA Field Hockey

USA Field Hockey is excited to invite you to apply to umpire at the upcoming Sunshine Showcase in Kissimmee, Florida. The showcase will take place January 24-26, 2025. The location of the event is the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort.

Umpires will be housed in rooms for up to four nights (1/23 arrival - 1/27 departure) at a designated hotel (TBD). Umpires will not be reimbursed if they stay outside of the USA Field Hockey selected hotel for this event. If a single room is requested the umpire must cover half the cost of the room. Games will be completed by 7:00 p.m. ET on Sunday.

• Umpires will receive a meal ticket for lunch and dinner at the venue. Breakfast provided at hotel. 
• USA Field Hockey will provide a $50 stipend to all umpires to help cover the transportation from Orlando Airport to the assigned hotels. 
• A shuttle will be provided to transport umpires from the field and hotel on match days.
• Umpires will receive $50 per game ($1/Minute)
• This years event is full field 11v11 matches and 7v7 matches. 
• A level 1 Rating is encouraged for consideration to umpire all divisions. Starter umpires will be considered for 7v7 matches.  
• The cutoff date for registration is midnight Sunday, December 8, 2024. We will be monitoring registration and will close it out early if we reach our goal of umpires. 

UMPIRES MUST HAVE CURRENT MEMBERSHIP BEYOND JANUARY 30, 2025 TO REGISTER.
